TAKEN (Movie)

I have Watched some amazing movies this past few days. One of the movies that took my mind of it's greatness is this movie, TAKEN. This is an action movie in the year 2008 starring Liam Neeson which scores the character Zeus in the movie Clash of the Titans and the General of the Naval Army in the 2012 movie BATTLESHIP.
This movie is one of those underrated movies that worth the watch of the people. I mean some of the action movies right now was used to spend so much money just to earn x2 of the budget in making their movies.
This movie has a budget of 26.5 million and just earned $226,830,568 in box office.
The movie is about the story of a retired highly skilled CIA agent who saves the life of her daughter from a syndicate called Albanian Mafia from Europe by his own works. The group is specialize in kidnapping teenagers to sell them into sexual slavery.
by the way, Liam Neeson is also the voice of the character Aslan in The Chronicles of Narnia..

A long journey until the gift, for B-Meg
21,046 PBA fans have witnessed an example of a high-classic ball game last night. And it's no wonder that the majority of those numbers are B-Meg's devotee.
An overtime in a basketball game was really rare to see unless the two teams are evenly matched. But an overtime in a Game seven of a basketball Finals-series is endangered species!. I mean, it's only happens a time in a lifetime.
It has been so long since the Purefoods franchise tasted a PBA crown. And after that, so much obstacle past by, so much injuries players have been taken, so much trades happened just to take home another one.
I still remember that conference when Kerby, Pingris, and Reavis suffering injuries at the same time and James have to play a game with a mask. That conference when the team failed to make on a Playoffs and when coach Ryan Gregorio leaved the team. There are also time that B-Meg struggling to find a stable import and have to change the picked one with another in the middle of the tournament.
Those are the moments that could courage you to break-off the team, that will make you say "lilipat na 'ko ng team na susuportahan".
And then Tim Cone comes.
It's really not easy for a team to adjust in a new system, but with coach Tim Cone?, Nah!. After loosing some early games in his debut conference on B-Meg. Wearing his signature "Kurbata" every game, he proves that he is a better coach by giving us an eight-game winning-streak. take note, "He's debut on the team". And now he give us a championship.
It's B-meg's Ninth championships, four of those are a "Philippine Cup" title. At last, my team now got an import, a tough one and a better one. The 23 year old Denzel Bowles was really the key to success to the team. His last biggest free throws to tie the ball game can explains to you how and why.
It's a long journey until the gift for B-Meg.
That heart-breaking lost to Powerade last Conference that helped B-Meg matured.
That flaming hands of Gary David that over-nightmared us B-meg fans in sleep.
Those in-balance big trades.
That Do or die Easter Sunday against Meralco Bolts that edgely put B-Meg fall again in their early steps on playoffs
That peace-campaign of the Legendary Pamboy Raymundo.
That most-wanted series against Barangay Ginebra, that finally happened.
That crowd that could've been break the record of 2007's season Fiesta Conference Finals in attendance if only Big-Dome give a chance to enter to those who failed to get a ticket for the game.
That over Twenty-one thousand crowd that yells every time B-Meg scores.
That mini-heart attack when Ali Peek scores a home-run from Jimmy Alapag's outlet pass that put Talk n' Text on top by six points with just two minutes remaining in the ball game.
That moment when Ali missed his second free throw that gives a chance for B-Meg to tie.
And that feeling when Denzel Bowles free throws sinking-in one by one at that crucial 1.2 final seconds of the game.
I may not have the rights, but so many already said this. "This is the best Finals-series ever". And yes indeed, I Agreed!
This Finals-series has too much to remember. For sure, it'll be a topic even after two weeks. For sure, it'll be on newspapers. For sure, Denzel will have a better spot in the NBA.
Parang dati lang, gusto pa nating ibalik na lang sa PUREFOODS yung team's name dahil we thought na malas, but not.
Those times when my team is like in a dark hole ay para bang PAM-PAGANA lang, mas masarap nga namang lasapin ang panalo kapag pinaghirapan mong kunin.
After after all, Denzel Bowles will still unstopabowles. And his name will remains in our (fans) heart.
James Yap now will be a two time Two-time MVP. (Finals MVP twice & Season MVP twice)
The game has ended, and I still believe that this is not the end of the BMeg Planet dahil madadagdagan pa ang populasyon for sure. We can also call it a Happy Ending for this conference and let's just wait to a new beginning in the up-coming one. Congratulations B-Meg!, And thank you Denzel Bowles!.

Why do referees always get the blame
Last night, B-Meg won and get the first ticket to advance to the PBA Commissioner's cup Finals. B-Meg won the first two games of the best of five series then Ginebra take home the "W" of Game 3.
The series has been much awaited by many, not just by the fans of both teams but other basketball enthusiast in the country. The match-up between the said two teams are really rare to happen in a series.
After the game, trending topics has been trend. Sports analyst take their notes, Fan debates. Players give comment, update tweets, post Statuses and get some reactions. Some players of the loosing team get the blame as well as the referees officiating the game.
Why do referees always get the blame?. Because they called the should be non-call?, Whistled at the wrong time?, improper decision making?. Whatever reason, it always ended to this; The fans of the winning team will agrees to the calls and the other side fans will do the opposite of it.
But how can we say that a game is fixed and managed by a biased officiating?. Let's just break it down (this is just my opinion).
* Did both teams get an equal ratio of the number of fouls that they've taken? (No, the winner team always have the least number of fouls, that is always happened in a game more often)
* Did the players make their shot into the basket?
(ibig kong sabihin, kung yung mga open opportunities ba e nagagamit nila para maka-score? kung hindi, isa din yun sa dahilan kung bakit lamang ang kalaban. Hindi sila makahabol)
At higit sa lahat:
*Did the replay of the fouls shows the contact clearly?
Why blame the referees?, Why not blame Coach Siot?, Why not blame Jackson Vroman who out-rebounded by Marc Pingris who is just 6"5, Why not the player who just out focused on the game in the fourth quarter?.
At matanong ko lang, which possession/strategy has the ability to get a foul? The one who focuses in inside scoring or the one who loves the three point shooting?. Take a time, make a review, and give an answer!

Congratulations B-Meg Llamados :D
For some: Sometimes the realities hurt because you want that all favor is just for you. And the problem if you are a die-hard fan, you just cannot resist the truth because you don't want your support to be disregard. And with that you just keep on insisting the blame to the referees because you do not have anything else to finger-point.

Follow God's direction, You are in good way
Holy Week, when this week comes. Some people will call for swimming, outing, and other party staffs. But for me I will just be at home.
My last year's Holy Week will be the same as this week now. I will stay together with my family, watching some recollection staffs on TV, Attending procession on Good Friday's night.
Its the week on how we look and reflect on the suffering and death of Christ. It previews of how our Lord Jesus Christ sacrificed himself just to save us from our sins.
This morning, I've been searching on Youtube. And I found a video thumbnail that encourages me to watch it, the video is entitled "Peter Parker Becomes a Priest". That time, I am thinking of Tobey Maguire will be in the video and doing some role of a priest in a movie or show, but it's not. I look on the interface and I see that the video's length is 20 mins above. I mean, this video is so long, I haven't finish watching a video on Youtube with a length 20 mins without pass-forwarding. But when the host starts his talk about "Why he chooses to be a priest and why he is a Catholic" I turn back saying to myself that oh, his story-telling is quite cool, his way of interaction is so more interesting.
His name is Father Andrew Trapp. He said, for the first time, he was just like a normal kid, watching Ninja Turtles, Transformers etc. And one day, God calls him and says God want him to be in that place. He believes that that is what God's reason why he is created for, to be a Priest. He also said that each of everyone will have a path to heaven. God has a plan for us from the beginning and we are created with a specific way to reach Heaven. he added.
And why he compares Peter Parker's life to his story?, I would first want you to watch it whole :)
(You'll never fall asleep at his sermon, swear)
(You'll never fall asleep at his sermon, swear)
Just say YES to whatever God' calling you to, and that you will be happy and fulfilled
--Father Andrew
The video was so inspiring i hope you give it a time to watch, and May God bless us all..

B-Meg: See you on Easter Sunday!
"See you on Easter Sunday", that are the words that I want to say after the do or die game of B-Meg Llamados vs Meralco Bolts in the afternoon of this day.
My team is now again in the edge of getting swept in a Quarter Finals in two consecutive conferences. Records will be detailed again, commentators are guessing who's ahead, Devoted fans are praying and hoping for a win, People pressuring their wants. But the game is not for them to decide. Or not for us to decide.
If the team lose, fans also lose. How long we will have to wait for a series between Ginebra and B-Meg?. What words to turn back when other team's fans will mock against our team when they lose tonight?. But whatever things have to be ready or to think of, we should remember that the fight is still far from over.
What team never loses?. Think of how many wins B-Meg had against Meralco, Think of how many Playoffs the franchise's have been through than Meralco and how many Do or Die game that the team' survived. Yes, Statistics are just numbers but it says a lot.
Look on the bright side!
We will say the first phrase later!.

Achilles and Josh Groban
I've watched the movie "Troy" this afternoon, It's for the fourth time? i think. but I did watch it on theater when it has been release in 2004, but it's a good movie so there is no sound of mistake in re-watching this movie. And I encouraging you to do it too.
The movie is starring Brad Pitt, Eric Bana and Orlando Bloom. The film is so interesting to watch a second and third and more time because you're able to notice small details in the actors' performances. In my fourth time watching it i concluded that one of the thing that causes the lost of the city is because of the Trojan's belief in their Gods. (I also consider Paris decision of taking home Helen from Greece).
That Wooden Horse that they treated as a gift from Poseidon should've been burned with the Greeks as Paris wishes it to his Father, but some advisers of Priam (The King of Troy) told the king to take it to Troy and call for celebration for their victory (cause they thought that Greeks has retreated)
And why this post is entitled "Achilles and Josh Groban"?, it is because of the ending soundtrack of the movie "Remember Me" sang by Josh Groban. the song is so fit in the ending scene where Achilles died because of an arrow shotted by Paris.
The song has the dramatic sound that can cause some tears to you, that's why I've searched it after watching the movie. check it out.
Troy is on my Top 10 movies that i like.

B-Meg Planet's population, decreased?
As I observed the last two games among B-Meg and Ginebra. Ginebra seemed to have the more fans going out of their house to watch live in the venue.
We heard the Ginebra crowd chanting last Friday their team's name four times in that ball game. Compared to the game last conference which the crowd split in half in terms of cheering. I mean half, hating-hati I saw Jay-Jay Helterbrand get booed by B-Meg fans in their game last conference, but did not happen in the last two games of this two most popular teams in the league.
I think the reason is Kerby. I think He is one player who has a big fan base in the league. And after leaving B-Meg to wear the Gin-Kings jersey, his fans will also transfer to the other side to support him. It could be, right?
He received 27,790 votes for up-coming all-star game He is the fifth player who has the highest votes. And some of that 27,790 votes came from ex B-Meg devotee. Don't they?
