The Sean Bean's death in the Lord of the Rings first installment was one of the most strongest scene in the movies. Being one of the Fellowship's member who struggled to survive from the first movie, Sean Bean's character: "BOROMIR" had three arrows stocked in his body in the end of the film Nakakaiyak 'yung scene na 'to. Syempre as a fan, sasabihin ko 'yun. Pero i think, as well as you will understand the story of the movie and the way it goes. And the way Boromir died, I can say it teared me.
The added sadness was provided by the background music, and those last lines during the passing of Boromir.

This afternoon I watched a multi-awarded movie entitled BABEL, starring Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett.
It is so different watching a movie like this from the genre of the movies of today like The Avengers, Hunger Games and those movies with fantasies and magical stuffs. The acting of Brad Pitt in this movie is so superb, I'd just couldn't see like that in the movies now at the time.
The movie has been received more than 100 awards and has been awarded more than 30 film festivals. And the big thing is, It won an Oscars. I mean, for a movie, a nomination in Oscars is a very big deal and to get one is really tough.

The first movie that have been watched is The Proposal, a Comedy movie with a love-story at the same time. starring Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds.

I have Watched some amazing movies this past few days. One of the movies that took my mind of it's greatness is this movie, TAKEN. This is an action movie in the year 2008 starring Liam Neeson which scores the character Zeus in the movie Clash of the Titans and the General of the Naval Army in the 2012 movie BATTLESHIP.
This movie is one of those underrated movies that worth the watch of the people. I mean some of the action movies right now was used to spend so much money just to earn x2 of the budget in making their movies.
This movie has a budget of 26.5 million and just earned $226,830,568 in box office.
The movie is about the story of a retired highly skilled CIA agent who saves the life of her daughter from a syndicate called Albanian Mafia from Europe by his own works. The group is specialize in kidnapping teenagers to sell them into sexual slavery.
by the way, Liam Neeson is also the voice of the character Aslan in The Chronicles of Narnia..

I've watched the movie "Troy" this afternoon, It's for the fourth time? i think. but I did watch it on theater when it has been release in 2004, but it's a good movie so there is no sound of mistake in re-watching this movie. And I encouraging you to do it too.
The movie is starring Brad Pitt, Eric Bana and Orlando Bloom. The film is so interesting to watch a second and third and more time because you're able to notice small details in the actors' performances. In my fourth time watching it i concluded that one of the thing that causes the lost of the city is because of the Trojan's belief in their Gods. (I also consider Paris decision of taking home Helen from Greece).
That Wooden Horse that they treated as a gift from Poseidon should've been burned with the Greeks as Paris wishes it to his Father, but some advisers of Priam (The King of Troy) told the king to take it to Troy and call for celebration for their victory (cause they thought that Greeks has retreated)
And why this post is entitled "Achilles and Josh Groban"?, it is because of the ending soundtrack of the movie "Remember Me" sang by Josh Groban. the song is so fit in the ending scene where Achilles died because of an arrow shotted by Paris.
The song has the dramatic sound that can cause some tears to you, that's why I've searched it after watching the movie. check it out.
All movie series have their own trademark piece of music. Like Hedwig's theme of Harry Potter series, Concerning Hobbits of The Lord of the Rings trilogy and others. but this guy that you can see from the picture below is a piece maker of great movies and have won a lot of awards in his compositions.

This guy has composed music for over 100 films, including "The Lion King", "Gladiator", "The Dark knight" and "Inception" where he take home the awards for the best music from different movie awarding. But the first piece that I heard from this guy is the main theme of Pirates of the Caribbean.
The soundtrack "He's a Pirate" has been used in a Talent Show, a Boxing-match background sound and for some local movies here in the country. And for so long time that this being used, It's sounds is became a trademark, and whenever you here it you will think that "Ohh this is from a Pirates movie!"

Obviously I'm a Lord of the Rings fan, and I truly glad when I heard that The Hobbit will come in 2012 (i heard it couple of years from now) Fake trailers come out in youtube, gathering over 6Million views even if it is not the official one. And at December 20, 2011 (Dec. 21 here in Philippines) the official trailer has been uploaded. "The Hobbit" got trends in twitter worldwide together with LOTR, Peter Jackson, Middle Earth and Tolkien. after yesterday I check the movie trailer today, I've got surprise, in a day the trailer got 4 Million views. take note "in a DAY".
I'm so exited, I so missed Middle earth in the big screen. 8 years from now the Trilogy of Lord of the Rings has ended. but hey it never be forgotten in the mind of the people. I truly believe that this movie will rock the Box Office than any other film. and I want it or maybe I'm surely that this can beat the Avatar record of most highest grossing film of all-time. The only bad news is, I just have to wait for it for a YEAR.

Instead of referring to the book's chronological order, The Chronicles of Narnia jumped two books looking for the next Narnia movie that will be publish a couple of years from now.
Walden's media revealed that the next Narnia movie will be "The Magician's Nephew" instead of "The Silver Chair" that many fans expected.
The first two Narnia films were produced by Walt Disney, which severed the partnership with Walden after "Prince Caspian" posted disappointing results. The first installment of the series placed on the top 41 of the World's Box Office Highest Grossing films while the Prince Caspian just stayed at the 127th place and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader placed at 130th spot right now.
Walden Media also says that "The Magician's Nephew" has the potential to be a blockbuster hit like "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" because it is the second most popular book in the Narnia series.
Many says that The Magician's Nephew is a great origins story. You get to learn so much about where the wardrobe came from, where the lamppost came from, where Narnia came from in this next installment.
So I'll just have to wait for this movie to come out in Theaters :D
I can't forget this scene in Lord of the Rings, day after day I always watch the scene on youtube so now I'll gonna blog it. to be...?? whatever haha!, however this scene actually can tell us why Lord of the Rings films are different to other movies. check it out.
This scene happens when The City of Gondor is under attack by an Orc army. Gandalf and Pippin having a conversation.

Pippin: Well, that isn't so bad. Gandalf: No. No, it isn't.
I highlighted the line that Gandalf's said ahh! it's a breath taking quote haha! the same with this "White shores, and beyond. A far green country under a swift sunrise." Goosebumps feels while Gandalf saying that phrase, I sincerely hope that when death comes to claim me, I will see exactly what Gandalf talks about here. What a beautiful and serene vision of what comes after. and What Gandalf says makes death far more easier to accept. I want to have these words as my own last words or else I will please to have Gandalf to speak this to me when I die :D haha I always was afraid of death but with these wonderful words i think i will never be scared again i wanna explore the White shore and the green country.

I've got teared eyes when I hear this, literally, i don't think i cry to any films but Lord of the Rings, just the soundtracks and the deep story and awesome acting kind of puts the majority of other films to shame. I'm sorry to anyone who love Harry Potter or Narnia but i don't think any fantasy will ever touch Lord of the Rings. i think i cry at this music because i know Lord of the Rings has ended, and middle Earth isn't real, and I'll never experience something this epic in film again.

And the second Movie-series in my list is the Pirates of the Caribbean series. Pirates of the Caribbean is a fantasy-adventure films. the series as of now is consists of 4 great films including Pirates of the Caribbean: the Curse of the Black Pearl as the first one, Dead Man's Chest, At World's End and the latest film On Stranger Tides. the main man in this film is the long lived Captain Jack Sparrow that played by a Award-winning actor Johnny Depp.
The films started in 2003 with Pirates of the Caribbean Curse of the black Pearl and after that success the Walt Disney Pictures revealed that a trilogy was in the works the next film Dead Man's Chest was released 3 years later in 2006. The sequel proved successful breaking records worldwide the day of its premiere. and in the end the second film earned $1,066,179,725 becoming the fourth and the third-fastest film to reach this amount and become the 3rd highest Grosser film of All-Time since 2006 up to the year 2008. and several years later the 4th installment of the franchise come, the Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides reached also the $1billion mark and the second-fastest film to achieved this.
Together, all the first three film were nominated for a total of 11 Academy Awards, of which a single award was won.

And finally the First, and actually the greatest films of All-Time I've ever seen is the Lord of the Rings film series.
The Lord of the Rings is an epic film trilogy consisting of three great movies based on the books written by J.R.R. Tolkien. The films are The Fellowship of the Rings, The Two Towers and The Return of the King. All three films was directed by Peter Jackson and distributed by New Line Cinema. the trilogy is considered to be one of the biggest and most ambitious movie projects ever undertaken. The entire trilogy took eight years to finished.
The main characters are Frodo Baggins (Elijah Wood), Sam (Sean Austin), Gandalf (Ian McKellen), Aragorn (Viggo Mortensen) and of course Gollum.
The Lord of the Rings also have the record for download hits, registering 1.7 million hits in the first 24 hours of the online trailer released.
Lord of the Rings film trilogy is the highest grossing motion picture trilogy worldwide of All-Time, All three films together were nominated for a total of 30 Academy Awards, of which they won 17. a record for any movie trilogy, The 3rd installment of the trilogy (The Return of the King) won all 11 of Academy Awards for which it was nominated including the Best Picture (The most important award of all) reaching a lot of Milestones including First and only film to win more than 10 awards including Best Picture and the 2nd film to reached the 1 Billion Mark Grossed.
The whole trilogy has a budget of $285 Million and earned $2,915,155,189.

(It doesn't mean that I have the books haha) or make a Movie marathon when you will watch the Sorcerer's Stone up to Deathly Hallows part 1? me? I do not know, I just want to watch Deathly Hallows part 2 whole when it shows period :D
What to expect?, a lot of spells, a lot of tears to fall down and to hear the Movie-world most famous line "Expecto Patronum" and the final face-off between Harry and Lord Voldermort. and I am pretty sure that when you walk out of the theater that is the time to get out the tissues and if you do not have use your shirt and hands (Before we go on I gonna say that I am not a very big fan of this movie series but I like it very much hehehe)
Actually when I heard the words "Epic Movie" the first movie that comes to my mind is the Lord of the Rings series. but I do not want to have an argument for what movie series is great of all! among Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, but you will have to agree to me that they are both better than Twilight. Am i right?
Lord of the Rings is a Masterpiece, Harry Potter is a Phenomenon, and Twilight is just a Film. Sorry for the fans but without of bias I can say that Twilight is just famous because of the 2 hunk guys there, and that is why the majority fans of that film is all Girls. and you cannot question me. You cannot argue to a Observer because you are a fan. did you get my point? (I wish you do) and after this Deathly Hallow's part 2 ends, the next movie series that will become EPIC is neither "Pirates of the Caribbean" or "the Chronicles of Narnia". Sorry again for Twilight fans just like Hayley William's said "You are the only Exception". :D

This Final trailer of the Deathly Hallows means a lot. When I watching it there is something that i can't describe with words. and sometimes goosebumps is not the exact word to say.
I am inspired of this song, I know many are not aware of Lord of the Rings in today's time because the series is done and already showed seven years ago but I will gonna say that Lord of the Rings are the most epic and historical film of all times
and I think, there is not and there will be not be better movie than Lord of the Rings ever.

i know years or decades from now, there would be attempts of a remake of the Pirates series, but i know there will be no other man can beat the drama of Johnny Depp's Jack Sparrow! His face, his mustache, his dressing, his look is a trademark in the eye of the people.

It will be a highest grosser this year. This On Stranger Tides and the harry Potter's Deathly Hallows part 2 will be the best movie this year!. Avatar is just an overrated and it doesnt deserve to be the number 1 grossing film ever. (sorry for the fans) Pirates 4 has a significant chance of beating avatar. Pirates 2 is the number 4 grossing movie ever so if you throw in the 3rd and this pirates 4 will have than it should at least be a huge threat to avatars record.
This trilogy (not any more) is almost as epic as Lord of the Rings and my anticipation levels for this movie are over 9000!!!!11one :)

No Keira knightley and Orlando Bloom
No orlando bloom really..no....ok...but he's like a vital character....still....ok.....it would still be better. but honestly i am extremely disappointed that will and Elizabeth aren't in this movie Knightley and Bloom refused to do the 4th movie, that's why they're not in it...
That's Blackbeards daughter. She replaces the official role of Elizabeth Swann. But that doesn't mean that she is Elizabeth. at the end of the third movie jack had the map to the fountain of youth, have you all even seen the movie? Will and Elizabeth are not going to be in it cause there's nothing more to tell about them, Will's stuck on the Dutchman and Elizabeth has to stay with her son, maybe they'll be in the next movie, who knows Remember when Will died? Jack placed the dagger in Will's hand and then made Will stab Davy Jones' heart, so Will became the captain of the Flying Dutchman. Only once every ten years can he come up on shore and see his love... Elizabeth. I don't know why she isn't with Jack. I guess she wanted to stay where Will could easily find her.
but probably this movie is the story of Jack Sparrow the Tale of Jack there's no doubt he is the main man. we've just missing the two because we've seen them in the last 3 part.
Jack Sparrow -is- Pirates of the Carribean. The franchise can easily stand solid so long as Johnny Depp retains that key role. Bloom and Knightley were just... 'filler' in the previous films. That it's also keeping interesting characters like Barbosa in it is a massive plus - Geoffrey Rush is one hell of an actor! Really looking forward to this next installment.
but don't be sad, because the part five is going to be awesome they add "Straw Hat" Luffy in the cast and they will find the One piece :)
Even if I have a strong feeling that in 2050 I might heard about Pirates of the Caribbean 32 : The lost Island of Boracay, I might still give it a try. lol
